FaceTime is a video-calling and audio-chatting app developed by Apple to enable users of its devices to make seamless communication, including video and audio calls and chatting. In other words, FaceTime is an Apple devices’ only compatible software. You can use the FaceTime technology as an iPhone user to any of your contact using iPhone running iOS 4 and later and other Apple devices like the Mac computers and iPads. These contacts are also expected to have FaceTime installed on their Apple devices to communicate with you.

How
to Set up FaceTime in Any Location:
Almost
all iPhones and iPads have indeed FaceTime installed. Unfortunately, the
feature is disabled by the network carrier in some countries, making it
difficult to use it, especially in the Arab countries.
If
you find your iPhone does not have a FaceTime icon, it will take a simple trick
to install it.
To
get started, go to “Settings.”
Locate and click on “General.”

Locate
and click “iPhone Storage.” This location shows a list of all the apps
installed on your iPhone and the size of the space they occupy. Scroll down,
and you will find FaceTime indicating it is one of the default apps on your
iPhone.

Now you can see FaceTime app is a default on your iPhone but disabled. To activate the app to work on your iPhone, go back to “General.”
Select
“Language & Region.”
Locate
and select “Region.”
Locate
a nearby region to where you currently are and select. For example, if you are
in UAE, you can select Egypt or Omar.
Once
you’ve selected the new region, click “Continue.”
Your
iPhone will reboot the “Setting Region” you chose.
Hopefully,
you will see FaceTime appear on your list of apps after the reboot. If it did
not appear, go back and select another region closer to your location until you
get the app working.
