Manchester United legend Gary Neville was clearly not impressed with his former side or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s performance vs Manchester City

The Manchester derby ended in a drab goalless draw and it’s safe to say neutrals didn’t enjoy it either.
Both managers set their sides up to avoid defeat and the hope was one of their respective forwards would somehow convert a half-chance to change the game.
Unfortunately for United, no one could create that bit of individual spark despite a good defensive performance.
Neville though was not pleased with how the club conducted themselves and had hoped to see more from his former teammate and side.
It certainly was the type of performance Jose Mourinho was often attacked for and probably even amongst the reasons he was eventually fired for.
Manchester United nullified City’s threat but it came at the cost of nullifying themselves offensively.
Even when fans consider who played well during the match, it’s safe to say none of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford or Mason Greenwood impressed.
All things considered, they certainly needed more to work with and the tactics didn’t favour them so perhaps that’s the reason why Neville blasted Solskjaer with the surprise Mourinho comparison.
