What
is the refresh rate, you may want to know?
A
refresh rate is a unit of measurement that captures how quickly the tab display
updates. That is, how fast and often the contents on the screen refreshes-
usually measured in Hertz (Hz). The refresh rate attempts to capture the number
of times the display refreshes every second it is on.
For
example, a 60Hz display on tab 6 means the display on the screen refreshes 60
times in a second. In the same vein, a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is the
highest so far and is on the tab S7, means the display on the screen updates
120 times per second. This is the first time a tab will be installed with a
refresh rate of 120Hz
The
display rate enhances smooth motion and transitions while using your tabs. This
is particularly noticed when playing games and shooting videos and
photos.
High
refresh rates make using the tabs more exciting, especially when the S Pen is
used. It makes the user interface smoother than imagined.
