Bruno Fernandes will be used to lure Pedro Neto from Wolves if Man United follow up their interest with a blockbuster summer move, Football Insider understands.
The Premier League giants are keeping tabs on the left-footed attacker as they look to recruit a wide forward in the next window.
A United source has told Football Insider the club believe Neto’s countryman Fernandes could be key to their pursuit.

The Portugese plays with two-times international Neto, 21, in the national team and shares a language, culture and footballing path to the younger man.
Fernandes, 26, has emerged as one of the Premier League’s outstanding players since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January of last year.
Neto had been in England for six months by that stage after signing from Lazio in August 2019 for £16million.
His value has more than doubled since that stage although it’s unlikely he would cost more than £40m in the summer.
Wolves will need to sell before they can buy in the summer as their once prolific spending comes to an end.
As revealed by Football Insider earlier this month, the club are planning to listen to offers for Adama Traore after his wretched campaign.
Neto has made 29 league appearances for Wolves this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
Football Insider columnist Gabby Agbonlahor is in no doubt about Neto’s ability.

“He’s a phenomenal talent. What is he? 21. He’s probably been Wolves’ best attacking player this season and he would have been even more effective if Raul Jimenez had stayed fit ,” the Aston Villa legend told Football Insider.
“He’s got the potential to play at a higher level, and for a bigger club. No doubt about that.”
