Dean Henderson would get away with a couple of concerning mistakes vs Burnley, though the fans weren’t going to forget them…
Manchester United Football Club continue to keep up the pace and positive results, despite the performance not being massively convincing.
At the end of the day, three points is all that matters. However, it could have all been so different as after thirteen seconds, Burnley had the ball in the back of the United net – following a pretty major mistake from Dean Henderson.
Thankfully, the goal would be ruled out, though Henderson was visibly nervous for the remainder of the game. For one who is often so calm, Hendo kept flapping at crosses, was far too keen to rush out of his goal and he was completely static for the eventual Burnley leveller.
I guess even goalkeepers have bad days at the office, so let’s just hope it was a blip from Henderson, who aside from last night, has looked like a super goalkeeper.
Going to sleep last night, I couldn’t get the image of him wearing that cap that looks like it was made for a two-year-old – and as much as I would love to pin the blame on that, he was making mistakes before he decided to stick that cap on. Jokes aside, I have full faith in Henderson to come back strong against Leeds United next weekend.
Anyway, as you’d imagine, Man United fans would take to Twitter by the masses to react, as the 24-year-old struggled at Old Trafford vs Burnley yesterday…
Check out the fan reaction to a poor Dean Henderson display vs Burnley here:
We won comfortably in the end. At least that's what the scoreline shows. Didn't play very well but still won.

But Dean Henderson had his worse game in a United shirt. And he'll have more bad games. He's constantly maturing and is still young. We need to have faith. #MUNBUR
Dean Henderson needs to sort his head gear out or be forever likened to Chris Kirkland.
