Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has given his side an invaluable first-half lead with a scuffed effort from close-range.

Andy Robertson whipped in a high corner, which seemingly found Gini Wijnaldum, before the Reds’ No.10 poked the rogue ball into the back of the net.

It’s potentially a massive goal for Liverpool, with victory securing Champions League football for the 2021/22 season.

After the season both the Reds and Mane have had respectively, securing qualification for Europe’s flagship tournament would be huge.
